Description

Sonny Boy Williamson "Down and Out Blues" on Checker 1437, an original pressing  from 1959. "Sheldon" is machine stamped in cursive in the dead wax, a sure sign of early first pressing. Deep grooves on both labels.   The vinyl is in Good condition, many light marks, some feelable. Sound quality is surprisingly nice on my turntable. Some audible background noise, but quite enjoyable for a rare album that has been enjoyed and listened too for 50 + years.   The cover is in VG- condition, neatly partially taped top and bottom seam, some light tsaining and price written on back cover.
