Description
SONNY CLARK: Cool Struttin', US Blue Note 1588 Deep Groove West 63rd pressing, features 2 different West 63 st labels, one including the R & INC. See pics. RVG stamped in trail off, 'ear' present too. 9M scratched on both sides in dead wax. This is an extremely heavy circa 1959 pressing that sounds just great! Overall VG+ disc, BUT PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS THAT FOLLOW: Side one looks VG, plays around VG+, side 2 looks VG+ (few light inaudible marks & hairlins only), plays truly EXCELLENT. Side 1 has a couple of light scratches, causing only some light back ground clicks, mostly inaudible, as the music is loud. Side 1 plays truly enjoyably, while side 2 plays truly EXCELLENT with no issues at all, just pure clean vintage blue note sound! COVER is VG+, see pics; very 1st issue cover with Blue Note Records (no Inc) address at bottom. Small tear on back cover, tiny tear in lamination on front cover. Overall a very nice & enjoyable copy of this blue note holy grail!

GRADINGS
- MINT- is superb, almost like new. No marks, scratches, clicks, noise, or anything else.
- EX is also VERY nice, 2-3 light marks perhaps, no disturbing noise, great sound quality.
- VG+, a nice player, but probably has some visual impairments, and some clicks or light noise in places; always see the individual description.
- VG: Rarely put of for sale, an ok copy, but always see the individual description.
PLAYGRADING
I play-grade parts of or whole LPs to determine the actual sound-quality of the item. Palygrading is done on a quality system with an Linn LP12 as the main source.
SHIPPING
I SHIP IN BAND NEW CRUCIFORM shipping boxes with stiffeners & extra corner protection always added. .The boxes are slightly bigger than the normal LP-size, thereby providing good protection of corners and edges. I remove LPs from sleeves, in order to prevent seam-splits on transit.
