this LP you are viewing here is part of an amazing rare jazz collection recently recovered from many years in storage. most of the LP's in this collection are original mono first pressings in excellent condition! (Several include pressing plant inspection stamps) These LP's are now around 50 years old, so you will notice some covers have minor storage wear Almost all covers are the original thicker, stronger material with no splitting! Most of the vinyls look as though they have never been played much. records were all graded and pictures were taken under bright studio lighting. You will not find records this rare and preserved so well that often. Do not hesitate to bid. Please read our feedback if you have any doubts. ALL pICTURES ARE TAKEN UNDER MULTIPLE STUDIO LIGHTS. ask any questions. There are hundreds of lp's from this collection being listed. Grading
EX / NM A nearly perfect record. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this,
The record should show no obvious signs of wear. Sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.
An LP jacket should have no folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like.
VG+ A great disc will still retain original gloss. and almost no noticable scuffing minus some basic paper abbrasions
Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves could have some slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.
In general, if not for a couple minor things wrong, this would be EX
VG A Very Good record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took pretty good care of it.
Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have some mild surface scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
The label may or may not have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.
We will not list a record graded below a nice, playable VG unless it is especially rare or could be
sought after by someone as a starter or low priced copy. Our records are graded as accuratly as possible
under bright light, and often sound tested. Records are shipped in durable LP mailers. Also, we sell our
LP's at some of the LOWEST PRICES ON EBAY

THE OVERALL GRADE FOR THIS LP IS EXCELLENT! THE COVER IS VERY STRONG AND RETAINS A NICE GLOSS. THERE IS NO SPLITTING WHAT SO EVER.
UNDER STANDARD LIGHTING THE DISC LOOKS MINT! ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK.
On Nov-26-10 at 03:21:45 PST, seller added the following information:I have play tetsed this LP and it sounds INCREDIBLE! I heard just a few quiet little crakles and one quick pop.
Otherwise dead silence between the tracks and during quiet parts.
Smooth as glass!
Instruments sound lifelike. WOW!
Especially the piano notes, & drums.
In my opinion, If cleaned with a record cleaner this vinyl would sound like brand new.
I will not attepmt to clean it myself.
Looks beautiful as is.
I will be happy to answer any other questions.
On Nov-30-10 at 23:14:16 PST, seller added the following information:
There is a small ear mark on the trail off vinyl indicating that this LP is an original press form "Plastylite" Blue Note's pressing company from West Plains NJ before it was aquired by Liberty.
