Sonny Fortune Long Before Our Mothers Cried Strata-East Records LP SES-7423, 1974
Split-free sleeve just removed from worn original shrink wrap - so there is minor wear and aging. Visually, the vinyl looks great but for a scratch across the last track on Side One - see last photo for detail. If not for this scratch the vinyl would grade at VG++. The vinyl sounds fine for the most part but there are a few soft pops audible in the sparse intro of Side Two. Now as for the scratch at the end of Side One - it causes a pop once per revolution that changes in volume and intensity as it goes along and which causes three jump skips at points along the way. A decent listening copy of this rare LP.
