SONNY ROLLINS “PLUS 4” VINYL LP – ORIGINAL PRESTIGE MONO HI-FI 7038 – NM
For sale is an original first issue Sonny Rollins LP “Plus 4.” This is a mono HI-FI Prestige LP 7038. First issues of this LP have this trail-off matrix number: PRLP-7038.
The cover is VG. There is a sticker on front upper left corner and writing on back upper left corner. One small seem split at that corner. Cover construction is solid with minor wear. The inside bag is in good condition with a split on one side. See the photos.
BUT….
THE RECORD ITSELF IS A BEAUTY…NM…HIGH GLOSS…PRISTINE (PERFECT) LABELS.
There is surface noise on the lead-in grooves on both sides. But when the music plays it is pure music…so I’ll stick with the NM rating since the noise doesn’t affect the music at all! I am confident that you will find this to be true, so I will allow a refund (you pay the shipping back) if you are unhappy for any reason.
I could not get any good pictures of the vinyl itself (or the matrix number) because of the high gloss reflections. But you can be sure it is as described.
A rare find…don’t see too many of these is such great condition.
