THIS AUCTION IS FOR AN UNPLAYED 180GRAM VINYL TEST PRESSING OF SONNY ROLLINS "THE BRIDGE" ALBUM . THIS IS ONE PRESSING OF ONLY TEN MADE. MASTERED AT BERNIE GRUNDMAN MASTERING BY BERNIE GRUNDMAN FROM THE ORIGINAL TAPE. ALBUM COVER IMAGE IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY. We provide a free generic white cardboard outer jacket and outer plastic sleeve.
The Bridge is a studio album by jazz saxophonist Sonny Rollins, recorded in 1962.[2] It was Rollins' first release following his unexpected early retirement in 1959 and was his first recording for Bluebird/RCA Victor.[3] The saxophonist was joined by the musicians with whom he recorded for the next segment of his career: Jim Hall on guitar, Bob Cranshaw on double bass and Ben Riley on drums.[4]
