Description

A fairly nice copy of the first mono pressing issued in 1959, recorded on Oct. 20, 21 & 22, 1958 at Comtemporary's Studio in Los Angeles. Record is VG+, with a few scuff marks, light surface noise, music is dynamic and crystal clear. Jacket is VG, also pretty nice with only light wear and small paper tear on front, no notable wear on edges and no seam splits. Matrix #'s Deadwax: Side 1: LKL-12-231-D1    Side 2: LKL-12-232-D1 Pressing plant mark "V" on both sides. Apparently there was only a single 1959 USA pressing run of this mono edition until it was reissued again in 1967.
