Up for bids is a rare original Mono Jazz LP by Sonny Rollins called "Way Out West" on Contemporary Records. C 3530. 1957.
ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!Record's edges are raised.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG condition. Front and back have some wear. Back of cover has some minor staining and some scratching. Front of cover has some writing on top towards left of center. Bottom corner at opening has a small ding. Spine has heavy fraying and two pieces of clear tape on it towards the top to prevent it from splitting. Spine has lost some artwork. No other splits on cover. Even with imperfections, cover is tight and looks great!
I would rate the record’s condition as a VG Minus. Has some marks, minor wear and some deep scratches. Record still sounds great on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Sonny Rollins or Jazz fan!
