Description
Very scarce near-mint original blues LP featuring SONNY TERRY on the PRESTIGE BLUESVILLE label, from 1960.
Title is “Sonny’s Story.” Monaural deep groove pressing. Catalog number is Prestige/Bluesville 1025.
This is the original pressing on thick vinyl with deepgroove in the label and glossy laminiated cover – not a reissue. Label is blue with silver print.
Personnel are as follows: Sonny Terry – harmonica and vocals; J.C. Burris – harmonica; Sticks McGhee – guitar; and Belton Evans – drums.

Jacket: Jacket would grade solid NM except for one slight flaw at bottom left corner where there is a very small chip. The front art work is brilliant with no traces of wear. Reverse is clean and white, looks like new. “PREVIEW COPY” is stamped on the reverse in red ink. This is a gorgeous jacket you will be proud to display.
Vinyl: Stunningly beautiful NM disc with full brilliant gloss, appears to possibly be unplayed. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity. I am certain the winning bidder will be very pleased.
