Sorcery: "Sinister Soldiers" (2 LP) 1978, USA/Century 45484. Discs are both in nice EX to M- shape, thick gatefold cover EX to M- also with just some very minor rubbing on the back side. Copyright text on the spine and on the back cover is printed on, this is not a stickered cover. But on the discs, the "Century" logos on the record labels are stickers. This gatefold cover is very heavy, and inside the pocket openings you can see it's made of old-style chipboard. I'm not an expert on private press metal records, but this certainly looks like a vintage late 70s record to me, so check out the pictures below and bid accordingly. Rare debut LP from this Illinois band was a big-ticket item way back in the mid-1980s, as it crosses over from metal into heavy psych zones. Doomy riffing on tracks like "Snowsh*t", "Fly The Sky", "Sorcerer", "Schitzoid", et. al. make collectors of this genre salivate uncontrollably...  add a killer gatefold jacket with tons of creepy art and pics and suddenly demand outpaces supply.
