Description
Up for auction, a great collection of instrumentals by the Soul Brothers, Carib Soul, released on Coxsone with catalog number CSL 8002 (CSL 8002 A IH / CSL 8002 B IH in run-out groove). This was the Studio One house band, featured a host of stand-out players including Jackie Mittoo, Roland Alphonso, and many others. This album originally came out in 1967—I’m not sure when this copy was pressed, I bought it new sometime between 1998 and 2002. The vinyl is in m- condition—it has one light mark on it and a very light residue from the plastic inner sleeve, as well as the standard pressing anomalies that come with many Jamaican pressings… The cover is in vg+ condition—the bottom left corner has been bent, which left some creases, other than that it’s like-new. See below for tracklist.
I’m currently selling some other roots reggae records, just about all of them in brand-new condition… check my other listings—combined shipping is available for buyers of multiple items.
In the United States, shipping is $4.00 for media mail with delivery confirmation; add .50 for each additional record. International buyers are welcome—shipping to Canada is $15 for the first album, $3 for each additional record; for the rest of world, shipping is $20 for the first record ($25 for double albums), $5 for each additional record (these prices apply to purchases of six records or less—if package exceeds 4 pounds in weight, buyer will pay actual shipping cost). All pictures are of the item currently up for sale. I do not use the "EX" grade. You should contact me if you are unable to submit payment within 3 days of auction close. Please email me with any questions.
