Description

SOUL SEARCHERS Salt of the Earth '74 Sussex Records SEALED MINT RARE Chuck Brown

Sussex Records catalog number SRA 8030, the second LP from the first incarnation of Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers, known at the time simply as the Soul Searchers, Salt of the Earth. Issued in 1974. An incredible soul-funk workout by the group, half the record sampled to death (especially "Ashley's Roachclip"), a tight, funky and very rare record. This one is still tightly sealed, flat as a pancake, colors on the cover bright; punched lower right of the cover. It's perhaps a promo, more likely punched as overstock/cutout. Super-rare find, unopened, mint condition. Bid with confidence. Thanks, have fun and good luck.
