Original gold label Design Stereo Spectrum SDLP-187 "AuthentiPhonic Stereo Process" (a.k.a. "fake"). Collection of various studio-only groups created for the budget/exploitation label Design/Pickwick. Lou Reed was a staff songwriter and session musician for them; and he sings lead and plays guitar (both unmistakeable) on "You're Driving Me Insane" by The Roughnecks and "Cycle Annie" by The Beachnuts. Song credits aren't listed but research shows Reed as a co-writer on all songs, and likely also sings &/or plays background on other tracks. This includes country, soul, surf, doo-wop, more. VG++ record (this cheap label came without an inner sleeve, so not even sealed copies are mint – I have added a plastic inner) and VG++ cover, still in shrink (cover is thin and flimsy – the bottom seam is split in the center). No liner notes, just ads for other Design LP's. Red lines are from the scanner. US winner add $4 for media rate mailing; $8 to Canada; other foreign $15.
