SOUP 's/t' Double LP (Italy, Gear Fab Comet, Catalogue #GFC 403) Brand new/unplayed copy of long SOLD OUT/OUT OF PRINT Italian Gear Fab Comet label (a subsidiary of the Akarma label) limited double LP edition collection compiling this Wisconsin band's very rare private pressing LP (released on Arf Arm) from 1970, four additional tracks by Soup; two tracks from their only 45 release and two tracks that are previously unreleased, and all four 45 releases (circa 1967-1968) of the pre-Soup band known as The Private Property Of Digil. The Arf Arm LP material proper features both hard blues and rural rock moves. Legendary late 60s/early 70s local Appleton, Wisconsin band.

'Crude local rural rock & hardrock affair with melodic Marin County eclecticism on side 1 including jazz and country moves; ambitious guitar-work, unpretentious vocals and some nice hooks that may appeal in an Owen B direction. Side 2 is live-recorded hard-rock blowout called "I'm So Sorry" with the desperate teen vocals again an asset, as well as some of the more frantic guitar riffing you're likely to hear. Nice playing all around and a trip worth examining for those into the really local early 70s sounds.
