Condition (jacket): NEAR MINT GATEFOLD WITH PHOTO OF STARS ON COVER, clean shiny and near flawless. There is a small spot of adhesive residue on the cover where a price sticker was removed.

Offered here is an UNPLAYED original early pressing of the Original Broadway Cast Album of “South Pacific,” starring Mary Martin and Ezio Pinza.  

A gorgeous early thick groove stereo pressing on the Columbia Masterworks label, (with the “six eye” gray Masterworks label.)  Please note that this is the original HIGH FIDELITY MONO recording, which is how this album was recorded and intended to be heard, and NOT the inferior electronically reprocessed stereo version that was later released to satisfy perceived market demand.
