Ivanna Ivanivna returns to Companion with her debut full-length release as Space Biology, titled Osmosis. Following the success of her single 'Pulsar' from Companion Collection II, this six-track extended EP further showcases the Ukrainian producer's remarkable creativity and technical prowess. Osmosis offers an excellent blend of lysergic electronica, exploring the fluid realms of dub, downtempo and IDM. The pulsating rhythms are punctuated by muted breaks and airy high frequencies that dance playfully over wobbly, dub-infused basslines. Rich, textural pads envelop sweeping synth melodies, while subtle grooves emerge, guiding listeners through the ethereal soundscape. This release encapsulates a sense of mysticism, inviting introspection and urging us to reflect on our consciousness.
