Description
HERE is a rather infamous record, "SPANISH DREAM," erroneously mentioned as a Duke Ellington item in several early discographies. My function here is to disabuse you of that notion, if you have it.
THE LUMBERJACKS actually are the quite respectable JACK PETTIS AND HIS BAND, with BILL MOORE, trumpet / TOMMY DORSEY, trombone / (future bandleader for Jerry Lewis) DICK STABILE, clarinet / JACK PETTIS, c-melody sax / AL GOERING, piano and other worthies.
On the flip is the MISSISSIPPI MUSIC MAKERS doing the delightful song, "IF YOU WANT THE RAINBOW, YOU MUST HAVE THE RAIN."
This original 1928 Romeo 779 is in respectable E- condition.

I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care. Your record will brave Media Mail in a stout corregated box, between four sheets of cardboard and a couple of “packers.” I hope you are amused by these descriptions, and by the quality of service being offered.
