Description

SPARKS - KIMONO MY HOUSE

Little played near mint vinyl with superb sound quality throughout, and rare textured pink rim Island labels

Record Label  :  ISLAND

Label number :  ILPS 9272
Matrix numbers :  ILPS 9272 A2  /  ILPS 9272 B2       (all stamped)
Little played (certainly less than 10 times in my estimation) and near mint (NM) condition vinyl which in normal daylight gleams with a beautiful jet black lacquered sheen, and even with close scrutiny under a bright light the only "blemish" (too strong a word) I could identify was a 6mm faintest of faint scuff mark on side 2 - barely visible at all;   excellent plus (EX+) labels...these are the much rarer (like hen's teeth) textured labels, unmarked apart from just 2 or 3 very, very faint spindle trails on each;   excellent (EX) condition fully laminated outer sleeve with firm and completely unscuffed edges, no cardboard creasing, near perfectly defined right angled corners (there is a tiny "scrunch" on the bottom left corner) with virtually no rubbing at all, no laminate lifting, no edge fraying and all colours/art work/photos/text remaining completely and beautifully intact. The only blemishes (and even these are non-obvious) are some 1cm very light laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine with x8 on the front side and x7 on the reverse side, x5 of which do impinge slightly onto the spine - all very minor but just noticeable nonetheless.  Superb, near mint (NM) sound quality from start to finish with no clicks or background interference or crackle, and brilliant tone and clarity throughout even at higher volumes/frequencies.  Comes with original lyric/photo inner sleeve with no splits, tears, edge fraying, creasing or age discolouration - perfect!  What a great listen and fabulous LP this remains!

This LP is now receiving the praise that it deserves and 1st pressings, especially the textured label variant and in condition as truly impressive as this, are now becoming very sought after.

POSTAGE :

Note that I always insert the vinyl(s) into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve  to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

For the UK £5 using Royal Mail 1st class signed for ;

for continental Europe £14 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £20 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

Note that for any shipments to Italy I now use either Parcelforce, UPS, or DPD for a fee of £17 (that includes tracking and signed for)

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 52 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's costume hire shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I'll sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
