Background on this eBay item -
"I’m Tired To Sing My Song In Las Vegas". This title, tucked away to be discovered almost by chance on the B side of the record, provided a hint to sensitive souls that the Everly Brothers would not be pouring out songs forever. And so it was that in 1973, one year after the production of "Stories We Could Tell", worn out by gigs, groupies, and the never-ending demand for their evergreen oldies, the brothers decided to take an artistic break. A break that was to last for ten years! That is the reason that on this particular album, rather than delving deep into their own treasure chest of songs, they turned to those of their famous colleagues such as Jesse Winchester, Kris Kristofferson and Rod Stewart. The producer was in a generous frame of mind at the time and gathered a crop of excellent musicians for the album, including John Sebastian (harmonica) and Ry Cooder (guitar), both of them on the West Coast of the USA at the beginning of the Seventies. It goes without saying that the 'Brothers' gave the very best, vocally speaking, of what they had learned in 25 years on the stage. If the sugary tear-jerkers of their teenage years spring to mind, don’t worry. These particular 'Stories' are created by mature minds for mature minds.
This title has been deleted and is therefore no longer available.

CONDITION Details:
The LP jacket is in Near MINT minus condition. Although it has been opened, it is just like brand new with no tears, bends or splits.
The LP is in Excellent plus condition! Although there are no serious marks, this LP does have some light spider marks which are typically caused by sliding the LP in and out of the inner record sleeve. Most of the time these types of marks and not audible, but they may sound on some audio systems, depending on the sensitivity of your analog front end (preamp, tonearm, cartridge and turntable). Otherwise, although the item has been opened, the LP is like new with no spindle marks, just a few light marks on the vinyl, with most of the original gloss and sheen.A Short Note About LP GRADING -
- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
- Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.
For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.
The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
