Background on this eBay item -

"You play each instrument in your own particular way: the one you blow, the other you beat, but the guitar you breathe." Luiz Henrique’s musical credo makes one sit up and take notice of how he transforms the seemingly endless wealth of Bossa Nova rhythms into wonderful sounds filled with the soul of the Brazilian people. Despair over the deplorable social situation, optimism that better times are on the way, but also the poetic beauty of the country are the themes that dominate in Brazilian music. "Listen to me", Henrique is saying to his audience, when he sings of joy and sorrow both in solo numbers and with the typical background voices; he honors such famous fellow musicians as Jorge Ben in “Más Que Nada” and Luiz Bonfa in “Samba Do Orfeu”. The small combo sparks off a rhythmic fire which is full of intensity but at the same time quiet and gentle, preparing the ground for melodic passages on the accordion, and mingling homogeneously with the guitar which provides the harmony. Thanks to its delightfully balanced sound and choice of numbers which provide a fascinating overview of the various types of Bossa Nova, this album is certainly a must for all fans of Brazilian music.

CONDITION Details:

The LP jacket is in MINT condition. It is FACTORY SEALED with no tears, bends or splits. Some of the outer plastic wrap is torn in places.

The LP is assumed to be in MINT condition as the item is FACTORY SEALED!

A Short Note About LP GRADING -

• Mint = Only used for sealed items.
• Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
• Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
• Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
• Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

1. Ground service is also available and although slightly cheaper, is not recommended due to the length of time it takes for packages to arrive at a customers address - usually about two months for overseas customers.
