RARE!! Spencer Davis Group - LP. Original 1965 UK. FONTANA MONO!! ***“Their First LP”***
FIRST PRESSING!!
Up for auction is this rare Spencer Davis Group album from the mid Sixties. Their First Uk disc, from back in the days before Steve Winwood gained his reputation as a solo artiste.
This album has been played and shows only the very lightest sign of careful use. BUT, I must stress that the small anomalies are only slight and the sounds are quite superb.
COVER: Front is absolutely stunning, NM and virtually faultless. Rear of cover is showing some light age yellowing and displays a record dealer’s sticker at bottom right. Otherwise is totally intact with no writing or other distractions. Quite amazing.
VINYL: Just a couple of light hairlines as seen under a strong halogen light which do not affect the superb quality of play, otherwise lovely. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong EX++.
LABELS: Both sides reveal deep original colours. No fading or writing. Only the slightest trace of spindle trail. Quite superb!!

INNER SLEEVE: Excellent.
AUDIO: Stunning original MONO recordings. A minor crackle or two but nothing serious or distracting. Just a great album. Perfectly flat with no skips or jumps.
To sum up. This album has of course been played as described, but very carefully and with much respect. A great addition to any self respecting collector’s library of music at its very best. The sounds are superb and truly classic.
This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
