Description
For auction one of the great rarities of Kim Fowley's canon and the first phase of psychedelia; a sleazy prowling grind, snarled in a Dylan whine, amid wild whirling organ, "The Comedown Song". 'I'm crawling back with demons coming out my mind!'
It is backed by "Blow Ya Mind" and equally snotty, early psych work out that, of course, tells us; "I'm crying in my mind..." It is a UK pressing on the Decca label F.12430
The few copies I have ever seen offered of this are always demos never store bought stock copies (there's a reason for that). But this IS a UK stock copy and as such a hugely rare find. Side one has featured as a stand-out cut on Fowley compilations but original copies simply don't surface as a quick search will show.
The disc sounds fantastic as only vinyl 45s of that period can. A genuine VG+ copy, it has various hairlines - none of which effect play at all - with Blow Ya Mind appearing particularly clean.
The labels are have no rips or writing and it comes in its original company sleeve.
The start price is low and there is no reserve.
