Description
My second copy of this great Spirit record; a very nice UK FIRST PRESS copy of Spirit's first, self-titled, LP on CBS S 63278 with A2/B1 matrix suffixes!!! The front-laminated single sleeve has some light edge creases, a long but light crease from top to bottom edge visible in the laminate but not on the back, some light ringwear and a small split at the bottom opening edge; also a bit of storage/handling evidence on the back, light brown fingermarks and such - still superb colour and great structure, and it certainly grades VG. Vinyl plays brilliantly; side one has just a few wispy lines, occasional light background noise, not intrusive. This side grades EX. Side 2 has a couple of similar light lines plus 2 more obvious skating lines, one quite heavy, but these lines have little effect on the super audio!! A few light clicks is all you can hear when the stylus runs across them - a testament to the playing quality of this thick, quality vinyl from 1968!! Visually side two grades VG+, playgrade EX-. Happy to combine postage £1 each extra disc UK £2 each extra disc Rest of World
