Description
SPIRIT IN FLESH, II (Confederate, 1979)
The evil megalomania of Brotherhood Of The Spirit leader MICHAEL RAPUNZEL (previously known as MICHAEL METELICA) continues on this private press sequel to the first album credited to SPIRIT IN FLESH, issued nearly 10 years prior. The Brotherhood Of The Spirit was a Massachusetts-based hippie commune led by RAPUNZEL who proclaimed himself to be the reincarnation of ST. PETER and ROBERT E. LEE with all of the predictable horror stories accompanying such lifestyles existing in abundance. Not as hard-rocking as their debut and pursuing a more rural, country-psych sound, but still strong with several tracks from the first album being reprised along with plenty of new revelations from the mouth of Michael. A good one that’s becoming in demand. DON’T MISS OUT!
