Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Superclean pressing of legendary UK punk classic, released in 1977. Old eBay prices: £77 + £69 + £65 + £64 + £63. UK pressings were never released with a picture sleeve. YOU WILL NOT FIND A CLEANER ONE. Pressed on private mini label ‘RK’ records (catalogue number RK 1001). The outstanding A-sider named ‘British Refugee’. The great B-side track ‘Mein Kampf’ was born with brilliant lyrics like ‘Sick Of Being Told What To Do. Tired Of Being Told What To Say. My Life Is The Way. Me, I Got My Own Mein Kampf. Mein Kampf, I’m Free. Free From Me’. With the band is Peter Clarke aka Budgie who later joined the SECRETS, BIG IN JAPAN, SLITS and SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES. The group also features Paul Rutherford who became a star with FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD. And another member of SPITFIRE BOYS is Dave Littler who played together with Steve Strange of VISAGE. Again, in tip-top condition.
