Description

Legendary punk classic from Maggie Thatcher country. The singer`s attitude is perfect and he was born to sing these killer songs. Original first UK pressing, released on private mini-punk label “RK” records in 1977 (catalogue number RK 1001). The vinyl is in near mint condition (superclean copy). The outstanding A-side bomber named “British Refugee”. This cracker also includes the punk classic “Mein Kampf” on the flip which was born with brilliant lyrics like “Sick Of Being Told What To Do. Tired Of Being Told What To Say. My Life Is The Way. Me, I Got My Own Mein Kampf. Mein Kampf, I’m Free. Free From Me”. With the band is Peter Clarke aka Budgie who later joined the SECRETS and BIG IN JAPAN. The band also includes Paul Rutherford who became a star with FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD and Dave Littler who played together with Steve Strange of VISAGE. This original first UK pressing was never released in a real picture sleeve (see scan) but some copies were born with label sleeves. Again, the vinyl is in perfect condition. Impossible to sit still when you put this puppy on, reline the soles on your rubber shoes and let`s all do the pogo....NOW (!!!!!!).
