Description

SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION Same (Harvest UK 1972)

Debut LP by massively underrated band on the highly collectable EMI Harvest progressive imprint, venturing into prog rock but with melodic sensibilities and still some psychedelic hangover. Quite varied, going from harder riffy guitar prog to more pastoral and dreamy psych moments. A really great LP produced by the very talented Greg Lake that didn't sell well at the time. Really nice pop art sleeve too.

Grading

Vinyl: VG++ nice copy, a few light scuffs under bright light, but plays really well with only the odd bit of light surface noise very occasionally. Comes in original poly-lined company inner sleeve.
Sleeve: VG some light general age wear, particularly on spine, but not too bad. Has old price (£1.00 - I wish!) in blue biro top right on reverse.

Grading

M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.

EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound

VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.

VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
