Fantastic and extremely rare original 1st issue vinyl album by The Spontaneous Music Ensemble. Amazing free form jazz with stellar musicianship throughout.

The record was produced and recorded in one day by Eddie Kramer at Olymic Studios in London on February 18th 1968.

S.M.E. Line Up

John Stevens - Drums

Evan Parker - Soprano Saxophone

Kenny Wheeler - Flugelhorn and Trumpet

Dennis Bailey - Electric Guitar

Dave Holland - Double Bass

Must be one of the rarest pink Island records out there and hardly ever turns up for sale. Keep your eyes on this very scarce album, it might be a while before you get another opportunity.

Only a few of the faintest non sounding hairlines mainly visible under harsh light, sounds superb, with just some ocasional non intrusive mild background, sounds fantastic.

   Flipback Sleeve- V. Good

Sleeve has mild to moderate storage/handling wear and there is evidence of a neat repair to a sticker tear at and a little bit around the top of the letter K in the title. This doesn't detract too much from sleeve's overall very good, respectable appearance.

I am a record collector myself and know how important it is to receive records in the condition in which they are advertised, and for them not to be damaged in transit through inadequate packaging.

Important Notice for Italian Bidders

I will only send out items to Italy if buyer pays the extra cost for tracking and for insurance up to value of item if value exceeds £20.00 as I've had one too many items sent out there which have gone missing.

I send out all my records using strong, stiff cardboard with extra bubble wrap protection. Also, the record is removed from outer and original inner sleeves, placed in a strong non original inner, then it goes inside protective polythene sleeve, side by side with original sleeves.

If the value of the record is over £20.00 GBP insurance up to the value of the record is recommended.
