Description
I have owned this album from nearly new, after swapping Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother" for it and have treasured it ever since. I still think it is one of the best album's of that era and a joy to listen to, even today. I rarely play it now and I am fortunate to have a re-issue copy, but it's not a patch on the original. In my younger day's, when I lived in Wales, I got to see this band in the early 70's at a small rugby club and they blew us away. They finished early that night because Pat Moran was the worse for wear and could barely stand up!! I often wonder how successfull they would have been if they had stuck together.
Despite the scuffs and marks on the vinyl , it still plays very well, as I've tried to look after it. On Side 1 track 3 Boats, there is a single click and Side 2 track 1 Golden Fleece (some noise at the beginning) and track 3 Song to Absent Friends (couple of clicks). Most of this damage was caused by loaning the album to a friend !! The black inner sleeve is in poor condition but still intact. The triple gatefold sleeve has held out well and has edge wear to the bottom and the corner's mainly ( see photo's )
The matrix numbers are AGBS 0521-A-1 and AGBS 0522-B-1 along with initials etched onto the vinyl of A/K on side 1 and A/E on side 2. I can only assume these would be for who pressed the vinyl at the time. I hope I have provided enough information, but please e-mail if you have questions. Thanks for bidding
