Description
This is an auction for a copy of the debut Lp by Springboard simply entitled "Springboard" released in the Uk on Polydor records catalogue number Polydor 545 007. This is a First press with the Matrix number 545007 A//1 420 and 545007 B//1 420. The Lp also has the very earliest 1 and 1 mother stampers.
The First press Vinyl has retained a nice sheen and i am happy to grade it as visually being in Near Excellent condition . There are some light superficial marks but it still looks nice . I have listened to the entire Lp at high volume and it plays through well. The music is clear and vibrant and plays through without any skips or jumps. There is some light background noise and the odd pop and tick, but i happy to grade the audio as Very Good++.
The labels are in Excellent condition with one or two very light spindle marks visible.
The first press Macneill Press cover is in Very Good condition with some storage wear to the spine and edges and some light creasing.
Overall a Nice copy of this classic LP

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
