Beautiful copy of rare Kansas City private press jazz-funk SSSlick - This Is SSSlick. Album and cover are in Very Good Plus. Several of the best songs are currently on Youtube. Here's a review of the album I found : First regular release of the top rare US funk album from 1981, in every collector's book and on most want lists: Deep Funk, Vocal Jazz and Blues by group around master organist Everette DeVan from Kansas City. Excellent hammond, guitar, trumpet & vibe action in a pure 60s & 70s sound featuring James Brown drummer Dwight Jenkins on this private press LP from the heartland of America. Famous and heavy in demand for organ funk tracks "Crisco" and "Voodoo Village".
