Description
STAN DONN -- All My Love / You Are My Heart -- ex. rare, original mid-1960's (??) U.S. 45. Here's another slab of ultra-crude and completely unknown Garage-Rockabilly from the same guy who brought you the killer "Deep In Your Heart" (featured on the excellent Wyld Sides Vol. 1 - American Garage obscurities comp -- look it up on YouTube.) A-side "All My Love" is the winner here, with groovy Ral Donner/Jack Bedient/Jim Burgett "I wish I was as cool as Elvis but I'm not" Rockabilly vocals and some fantastic stinging guitar that halfway through erupts into total freakout. B-side "You Are My Heart" is Elvis-style Teen Rock Ballad, pretty cool in its way (and even better, he starts talking in German towards the end of the song ... why? who knows!!) Almost nothing seems to be known about Stan Donn (or this single) -- like "Deep In Your Heart," it was released on the obscure Like Young label. In generic sleeve. Record: VG+, A-side very clean, light scratch at beginning of B-side and light wear on B-side, overall very clean, on Like Young private label, U.S. press. Overseas buyers: please contact me about international shipping since record needs to be sent with delivery signature confirmation, many thanks.
