Description

Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1962 pressing of the famed Jazz Samba LP by Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd, on Verve V6-8432. This was one of the first Bossa Nova albums ever released in the US, and was somewhat the catalyst that created the Brazilian music craze of the 60s, along with its two follow-up records, particularly the one with João Gilberto. Anyhow this was the first of the Stan Getz bossa records, and this is a truly great copy. The disc has just a few very light sleeve scuffs, but it plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has only the lightest shelfwear and is also nearly immaculate, with crisp edges and corners. A top original  copy.
