Stan Getz ?– Stan Getz Plays

As with many original 10" 1950's-era recordings, this one plays with light background noise or "crackle", and occasional, irregular, light clicks from the recording and production technology used at that time.  These "as made" characteristics are distinguished from noise that has resulted from wear, in that they were present from the moment the record was pressed, and are audibly absent in the deadwax between tracks.
 
Here is the visual grading condition:


THE VINYL :  EX :  Lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear, both sides of the LP retain much of their original gloss with undamaged, bright, black and silver Clef labels. Present on both sides are a few light marks, including some cosmetic sleevewear from the inside cover, and a some minor hairlines.

All tracks play through with no skips or sticking: there are no deep marks.
 
In all, the record has been carefully handled, infrequently played, and produces a strong mono audio.



THE COVER :  EX : Minor front cover scuffing / no ringwear / the spine has been carefully taped with a higher quality black tape, likely done to prevent the spine from splitting (please see cover photos) / the upper and lower seams are not taped and are intact / sharp corners and minimal edgewear / there is some light writing on the top right of the back cover (please see photo) / no other writing, paper loss, paper tears, or stains.   


We have placed both the cover and the LP into separate, protective plastic sleeves.

EX: MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE (LIGHT SCRATCHING/PAPER SCUFFS), BUT IN ALL A RECORD THAT HAS BEEN WELL-CARED FOR.

VG+: LESS CARE THAN EX, LIGHT SCRATCHING OR SCUFFING IS MORE EXTENSIVE. STILL VERY PLAYABLE & WILL LIKELY PROVIDE A QUALITY SOUND.
