Description
A great opportunity to buy a RARE VINYL LP from the 1960's by Stan Tracey called "The Latin-American Caper".
Don Rendell is featured on Clarinet.
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1969 on the Columbia (Lansdowne series) label (SCX 6358)(stereo) and has 9 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- YAX 3886-2U (side one) and YAX 3887-2U (side two).
The vinyl is in a lovely, clean and shiny NEAR-MINT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there is just a spindle mark on each side of the label, when tilted towards the light, to indicate it has been played. I have played the whole of both sides and they play fine and sound terrific.
The labels are clean and free from any writing or defects.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed within the original red-tinted LP advertising inner sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition.
The laminated flipback picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition.The edges and spine are very strong and the text on the spine is clearly readable (see photo). There are signs of minor ring-wear on the front.The back is not laminated, but has been well protected and is clean. There is a slight crease in the top corner making the flipback lift slightly.
This is a highly collectable Jazz-Latin LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
