This record is in very good+ condition. It has some faint spindle marks visible on each label but no pen marks, scuffs, fading or staining anywhere. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are in good shape with no major issues to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing serious or deep showing and are actually pretty clean overall. There are however some very thin light lines, the occasional light minor 'sleeve scuff' and a few light blotchy or mottled areas. All these minor lines and signs of use are clearly evident under bright light but there is again nothing serious. So overall a hard to find, used, vintage record which is in good shape with no nasty scuffs, marks or blemishes and a lovely shine.
I play tested the record and it played well overall and on the whole sounded great. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is only very slight upward movement in the record arm. As for the audio there no skips, sticks or annoying clicks but there is some light surface noise audible in parts. This is only really audible in the very quiet parts or the areas of dialogue. This also mainly only occurs on side 2 in the dialogue parts of the first two tracks with the other two dialogue parts pretty clear as those of side 1. The actual audio parts or anything with any volume on both sides are nice and clear however, with little to report and minimal interference of any sort. However of course the album is roughly half dialogue/half jazz and so the light interference in the dialogue parts is not ideal. I have therefore graded at VG+ which I think is fair. So overall I enjoyed the whole play test and although the static in the dialogue on side 2 is not ideal I still found the musical/poetry experience enjoyable.
The sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has only very slight rubbing and wear to the edges and corners with the writing along the spine all still clearly legible. There are of course no splits and no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is minimal ring marks showing and next to no creasing. There is some very slight discolouring to the white/cream areas but overall it is in great shape and is free of any serious issues. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original plain white RCA inner which is in excellent condition with no splits, tears or pen marks and just a minor amount of creasing and light ring marks.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
