Description
I am offering this rare STANLEY BROTHERS ON THE AIR album from Ray Davis' Wango Records. 115. 1976. Vinyl in NM condition, looks to be never played. Jacket is NM with 4" split on top otherwise very clean.
Recorded in 1963 at Johnny’s Used Cars, Baltimore, MD, This album features 2 radio programs. Davis spent 38 years hosting a popular bluegrass program from Johnny’s Used Cars for WBMD in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1962, he began recording some of the nation’s finest bluegrass musicians and selling these recordings under his own label, Wango.

This album came from my late husband's collection which I have unearthed from a large closet. I am not an expert on records and I am just visually examining them and describing them as best I can.
