Stanley Turrentine "Sugar"
with Freddie Hubbard, Butch Cornell, Lonnie Liston Smith, George Benson, Ron Carter, Pablo Landrum & others
originally released 1970 // first pressing // not a reissue

Mr. Turrentine (1934 - 2000) graciously signed this LP in 1998 at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago.  However, Brother Stanley refused to play his runaway hit  "Sugar" for the packed audience at this afternoon set.

vinyl is clean: no scratches or marks: record appears played only occasionally

occasional scuff or hairline on each side

visually the record grades 8.5  on a 10 point scale

no spindle marks on labels

LP plays well, but may play with occasional background noise
