- Up for sale is a beautiful, highly sought-after original 1977 UK first pressing of the iconic Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope soundtrack. This version was pressed in England by Pye Records and retains its rare, original external front cover hype stickers, Insert And Poster A true holy grail piece of cinematic and musical history for Star Wars collectors and audiophiles alike.
- Original Fold-Out Poster: Excellent (EX)
Includes the highly elusive, original 1977 UK insert wall poster featuring artwork by John Berkey. It is in magnificent condition with crisp factory fold lines, sharp corners, and absolutely no pinholes, tape marks, blue-tack residue, or tears. The top-right corner clearly shows the matching BTD-541 catalog number. Finding this album with the poster still intact and un-posted is exceptionally rare. - Vinyl (Discs 1 & 2): Excellent (EX) / Very Good Plus (VG+)
Both discs retain an exceptional, brilliant high-gloss mirror sheen. Under strict light inspection, the grooves appear remarkably clean with minimal signs of handling and no deep or audible structural scratches. The 20th Century / Pye center labels are crisp, unblemished, and free of spindle trails or writing. - Gatefold Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+)
The iconic Darth Vader front and back matte sleeve is in very strong structural shape. The spine is completely straight and fully legible. It shows only light, natural edge storage wear and minor surface rubbing consistent with age. Crucially, the original front-cover "Poster" and "Beware of Imitations" hype stickers are firmly attached and completely intact. - Insert & Liners: Excellent (EX)
Includes the original technical credits and theme breakdown insert sheet, which is crisp, bright, and free of folds or tears. Comes complete with the original white, angled poly-lined inner sleeves marked "Made in England".
