" STAR WARS " (John Williams), 20th Century Records (BTD 541) 1977.
Very rare, original UK 2LP issue of the classic score from the 1977 film.
Includes the insert and the beautiful poster that is missing from almost all the 1st issue LPs left out there - see photos. The poster is now naturally a big part of this LP's value.
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeves.

CONDITION:
VINYL = EX- (No deep scratches, groove damage, excessive surface noise, distortion, etc. Only light spindle trails on the label. A bright grading lamp reveals quite a few faint paper scuffs and a few faint hairline marks - as you would expect, these do not sound on playback. Generally it plays very well, with the very lightest of faint surface noise just audible in the pressing, heard only during the silent run-in and the occasional quiet section of the score. Mostly though, it plays strong, clear and without interruption from clicks, crackles and excessive surface noise, etc. Clearly only had pretty light use in it's lifetime and has been well cared for.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = EX- (Generally in very nice condition still. Just let down by a bit of light wear to the edges and corners, which also have some small creases eminating from them. Otherwise, there are just a couple of other scuffs/marks on the cover - see photos for further clarification)
POSTER = EXCELLENT (on the white back there are a couple of marks and a slight brownish stain, but these imperfections aren't coming through to the printed side in a way that is visible. No tears, defacing or other serious damage - see photo)
