Description

THE STARK REALITY Discovers Hoagy Carmichael's music shop.

“The Stark Reality Discovers Hoagy Carmichael’s Music Shop,” released in 1970 as the music for the WGBH/21”Classroom television series. This is in no way a typical children’s show soundtrack; this is some seriously weird and complex Zappa-esque jazz/rock fusion.

Musicians include Monty Stark on vibes/voice, John Abercrombie on guitar, Phil Morrison on bass and Vinnie Johnson on drums.

Tracklist: 1.Merry-Go-Round 2.Junkman’s Song 3.Thirty Days Hath September 4.The Whale 5.The Old Prospector 6.Grandfather Clock 7.Cooking 8.Shooting Stars 9.Rocket Ship 10.Blue pillow 11.Dreams 12.Swing High 13.Clouds 14.Traveling 15.Bustin’ Out Of Doors 16.Comrades 17. All you need to make music.
