Starship - Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now 1987 US Factory Sealed (Photo #9) 12” Vinyl/Single b/w (backed with) Layin’ It On The Line (Photos #4 and 5). Printed in U.S.A. (Photo #6). Catalog number: 5961-1-GD (Photo #8).

This vinyl record from Starship is a gem for any fan of 1980s soft rock, synth-rock, power ballads, and pop rock. The record is a first edition, first pressing and is still sealed in its original cover with an original inner sleeve. The 12-inch vinyl is in mint condition (M) and includes the PRECISION etch in the Matrix / Runout/ Dead wax areas on both sides of the vinyl (please see below for specific details). This single features the iconic hit "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," produced by Narada Michael Walden which topped the charts in Canada, the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, where it also became the second-best-selling song of 1987 and the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart where it finished at #5 for the Year-end Chart of 1987. The song has been Certified Gold in Denmark, Sweden, Canada and the US by RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) and Platinum in the UK by BPI (British Phonographic Industry). "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" received a nomination for Best Original Song at the 60th Academy Awards and is the theme to the romantic-comedy film Mannequin. The song has been Certified The cardboard sleeve is in near mint condition (NM or M-) and the vinyl is black in color. This unit has stereo sound, a speed of 33 RPM, and is a great addition to any vinyl collection. Condition is "New".
