On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Status Quo called 'Picturesque Matchstickable Messages' and is a MEGA rare 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pye label!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND, AND IS EASILY STATUS QUOS RAREST LP!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PYE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' PATENTS PENDING COVER!!!!   THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Pye UK 1st MONO pressing from 1968 and is MASSIVELY rare!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is NPL 18220 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Pye label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Status Quo at their best!!!! Any fan of Status Quo, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

However - it is important to mention that although this LP is SERIOUSLY rare and plays well ALL the way through with NO jumps and a great cover - it isnt in perfect condition. However this is a GREAT chance for someone to own this EXTREMELY rare LP at a MUCH cheaper price than a Mint copy!!!!  The record labels are still in GREAT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, and some spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl does have quite a few hairlines & scufflines - but on the whole the vinyl still retains a shiny look and as I said before - it plays with NO jumps and is certainly still VERY enjoyable to listen to with GREAT sound!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays MUCH BETTER than the visual with a few clicks/pops in places, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO groovwear, NO hiss and only some slight crackle in places.  The record must grade visually Good - with the playing grade better still!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press MONO Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, slight corner wear, some creasing, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO writing, only VERY minimal grubbyness, and only some VERY slight yellowing!!!!   The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!!  THIS LP MIGHT NOT BE A PERFECT COPY. BUT THIS LP HAS BECOME VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE AS A GENIUNE MONO 1ST PRESSING - AND THIS IS CERTAINLY A GREAT CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN THIS LP (WHICH STILL PLAYS WELL) AT A MUCH CHEAPER PRICE THAN THE MASSIVE PRICE OF A MINT COPY!!!!  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
