PYE LABEL 1968 FIRST UK MONO PRESSING WITH GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FRONT LAMINATED FLIP BACK SINGLE SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in 1968 on the blue & black PYE label, I am offering today this original rare first UK MONO pressing of this classic debut album from THE STATUS QUO titled "PICTURESQUE MATCHSTICKABLE MESSAGES FROM THE STATUS QUO".
The album is a rare first UK MONO pressing and comes complete with Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flip back single sleeve which is one of the cleanest examples that I have ever come across with fully legible spine text and clean edges etc. You will go a long way to find a nicer example than this. These usually turn up very worn, see my pics this is a final upgrade.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips or nasty pops etc.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually and audibly is excellent. it plays nicely with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc with a rich MONO sound.
The SLEEVE, The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flip back single sleeve is clean with fully legible spine, you won't find better.
The LABELS, The first issue blue & black PYE labels are clean, showing moderate spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The generic white inner is clean and free from unwanted writing etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
