Description
Here is a rare original UK first pressing of Status Quo's debut album, Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from the Status Quo, on Pye in mono from way back in 1968.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in VG- condition - a fan has coloured in an area around the title text on the rear panel (see photos) and there is a small area of rubbing to the right of this.
Both blue Pye labels are clean and unmolested with only moderate signs of spindle marks and both sides of the vinyl are in strong VG condition with just light marks showing when critically examined under harsh lighting.
The disc plays through beautifully, all the way through, both sides, with no skips or jumps - a truly great psych album.
Good luck if you are bidding - I carefully pack vinyl using professional packaging and post with the disc removed from the sleeve to prevent knifing during transit.
