Description

IF BIDDING FROM OUTSIDE THE UK THEN PLEASE NOTE THAT I USE EBAY'S GSP FOR POSTING. THESE COSTS CAN BE HIGH. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO PAY THESE PRICES THEN PLEASE DO NOT BID. For the UK any item sold over £20 will be sent tracked (£3.90) and any item over £50 will be sent special delivery (£9). Due to increased costs from third parties unfortunately I have had to raise p&p costs.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I USE THE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM (see below) AND NOT DISCOGS!!
Please also note that this item will be sent signed-for which is why the P&P is higher.
I am selling off some of my collection so:-
For auction here is a very nice rare Advance Promotion copy single by Status Quo with 'Are You Growing Tired Of My Love' coupled with 'So Ends Another life' and issued on the Pye label 7N 17728 in 1969. One of the transitional singles whilst the Quo found their true direction. This one sounding more like the Bee Gees than the Quo we know and love.
It comes in a company sleeve
Visibly it's a very nice copy with some light marks on the vinyl so please do not expect a mint copy. The label is free of writing and stickers but there are spindle marks. The label is date-stamped for release on 25 APR 1969.
Audibly it plays  between VG and VG+.There is some crackle at the beginning of both sides but this generally seems to disappear. There will be the occasional click or pop but, all in all, it's a nice and rare single.
Please bid with confidence as I have a 100% positive feedback rating.
I am willing to post multiple items abroad which will be tracked and signed-for. Payments for this method go direct through Paypal as Ebay's GSP does not cater for multiple item sales unfortunately.
I try to adhere as closely as possible to the Record Collector Magazine grading system which is shown below as a guide. I do ad + and - to gradings for intermediate conditions. Any record described as 'Mint' will mean 'Unplayed'.

RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
