Rare LP on the UK original Green BRAIN RECORDS lable - brain 1009 from 1972
Suspenseful and atmospheric, this enigmatic album is the 4th recording by this excellent band. Somehow it was not issued elsewhere than in GERMANY ONLY, so it was limited in distribution and sales to that country. Perhaps it seemed that the German audience was discerning to keep faith with more 'experimental and artistic' music, when the UK and US was indulging in Focus, Alice Cooper, T.Rex, Yes and Led Zeppelin?!
Ok, this works for record companies who insist on financial returns, but obscures the validity of the late-sixties artists and bands like this which had something interesting to offer.
So, it made for a rarity by a cool British band, who are now renowned and sought....as of course is the reputation for the BRAIN lable of artists.
MARTIN PUGH is well known, and let's not ignore one of THE best bass-players around - LOUIS CENNAMO, taking a hiatus from work with Jim McCarty and Keith Relf's RENAISSANCE.
The vinyl is in wonderful condition, TOP shine EX+ to NEAR MINT.
The lables are NM
The laminated GATEFOLD cover grades VG+, some general storage wear, a very decent example.
