Description
Brain ( green label), Germany, 1972, gatefold.
VG+/ VG+ Quite decent cover with only light abrasion, a few small spots of edge wear, small creases at edges; export copy with "Made In Germany" sticker on back. Lp looks generally clean, has some small scuffs at the beginning of each side, a small dimple between tracks on side 2, and only some very light surface wear noticeable in the quiet spots, which aren't many. Small marker "X" on one label.
A truly dazzling album that straddles a line uniting some of the best of the progressive and hard rock worlds. One of the heavy guitar prog cookers of the entire Brain catalog, the fourth album by STEAMHAMMER expands on their previous sounds, featuring layered guitar with lots of effects - phase, distortion, compression, flange; with stunt guitar effects and solid lead guitar. Dynamic and impressive throughout. Sporting fantastic cover art by Paul Whitehead, in its true-to-form, difficult-to-find original gatefold cover!
