Description
NEXT - A WEEK'S WORTH OF AUDIOPHILE QUALITY HALF-SPEED MASTERED LPs - This is a reasonably priced 1979 MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB / MCA RECORDS HALF SPEED MASTERED U.S. ISSUE JAPAN PRESS LP titled 'Aja' from popular jazzy classic rockers Steely Dan. It is Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Records U.S. catalog number MFSL 1-033. The original lyric sheet and the original foldout cardboard insert with blurbs and technical information about Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab recordings are both included, and record comes packaged inside the gatefold cover in its original static free cling free inner sleeve. Tracks: Black Cow, Aja, Deacon Blues, Peg, Home At Last, I Got The News, Josie. Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Record has an extremely slight and barely existant slow warp which only becomes apparent when the record is placed on a turntable and which has absolutely no effect on play. Condition of gatefold cover could be better - it is G at best - Cover has some staining and slight damage along its bottom edges inside and outside resulting from exposure to moisture. Cover also has damage along its edges - The right hand edge of the front gatefold, which should be a solid edge, is completely split for its entire length, and most of the top layer of paper is worn off the top edges of both the front and back gatefolds, there are also 3" splits in both of those edges which I have carefully and neatly repaired by taping from the inside. Cover also has some general ring and contact wear and general wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no tears, writing, or stickers. Lyric sheet insert also has some wrinkles resulting from exposure to moisture. I have priced this LP modestly according to the condition of the cover, record is NM and will sound fine - This high quality MFSL LP would still make a worthy addition to any audiophile pressing, Steely Dan, or classic rock record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.50 first class mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - PLEASE NOTE: NEW FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL POSTAGE TO AREAS OUTSIDE THE U.S EXCEPT FOR CANADA (13.50) AND GERMANY is $20.50 - YES IT'S CRAZY, THIS IS THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AS OF 1/27, NOT ME!!! PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS CONTINUING FAILURE TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES, I AM FORCED TO ADD AN ADDITIONAL $12.95 TO COVER REGISTERED POSTAGE WITH TRACKING AND SIGNATURE DELIVERY TO ALL SHIPMENTS GOING TO GERMANY. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS, BUT I CANNOT CONTINUE TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE MY EBAY REPUTATION DAMAGED BY THE GERMAN POST AND CUSTOMS' INABILITY TO DELIVER MY PACKAGES. Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S.! WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
