Up for sale is an exceptional 1980 US first pressing of Steely Dan’s masterpiece, Gaucho (MCA-6102), pressed at the MCA Pinckneyville plant. This highly coveted audiophile copy features a true "Double RL" configuration, with the handwritten "RL" initials of legendary mastering engineer Robert Ludwig and the MASTERDISK stamp verified in the dead wax on both Side A and Side B. The vinyl retains its brilliant original mirror gloss with clean grooves, showing only minimal, superficial sleeve whisps in the runout that do not impact audio performance. It comes complete with its original textured outer jacket and the custom lyric/credit inner sleeve.
